We are "Lucky Stars Cattery". We currently have TEN adult cats in our household. We are using SEVEN Cat boxes. All of them are ventilated using the LitterVent product. We have absolutely no odor in our home.

Many customers have come to our home and have commented about our odor free cattery. We have a variety of styles of covered cat litter boxes. Most are vented through a double hung window as described on the LitterVent website. Two are vented through a dryer vent that I installed myself. The LitterVent product can fit into a dryer vent by using a PVC adapter that can be purchased at any hardware store.

Over the years we have evolved our system of litter boxes. We have used many different cat litters. We even have spent $25 for a 30lb bag. (Worlds Best). But the way we do it now is this. Since we are using a ventilated system, we now use 'Cats Pride' which costs less than $5 for 30lb bag non scoopable. We also use disposable tin trays as the container ($0.65 each at Sam's). The litter box cover is usually an inverted Rubbermaid bin. So when we need to change the litter, we simply throw out the old, tray and all. We do this once a week. So not only do we have very clean boxes that don't smell, but it is economical as well.

Numerous customers have told us that we should sell our system of ventilation. So that is why we created the Littervent product.

We feel certain that the product will work as described. Your odor will be gone. The fan really is very quiet. And your cat(s) will be very happy too.
